NEW YORK, U.S. - In yet another bizarre social media post, put up by Donald Trump Jr., the President’s oldest son on Saturday drew some giggles as he posted a weird photo of his father.
On Saturday, Trump's oldest son posted a picture on Instagram, showing his father as a superhero resembling Superman on the cover of a fake Time Magazine issue, leading the Internet to mercilessly make fun of him.
The image depicts the President with a long golden beard with a 'T' instead of an 'S' emblazoned across his chest.
One user commented, “Except your pops is obese and can't grow facial hair. Very sad' and 'OMG this HAS to be satire!”
Twitter users were just as brutal and several people posted comments ranging from comical retorts to disturbing statements.
One user wrote to Twitter, “Alt-right porn is so weird,” while another user commented, “Just another fake time magazine cover.”
Another social media user wrote, “I’ll never be able to look at Superman the same way now. Dammit, Trump!”
However, some loyal Trump supporters praised the fabricated Time Magazine cover, calling it inspiring.
One user wrote, “Love this photo of our brave heart! We the American Patriots love our President and his family! Long live our President Donald J. Trump!”
The photo posted earlier this year showed that no less than five golf resorts bearing the Trump name had fake Time Magazine cover photos framed and fixed to the walls from Florida to Scotland.
The headline read, “Donald Trump: The 'Apprentice' is a television smash!”
The issue was dated March 1, 2009, a month when Time Magazine did not publish an issue.
