They have every reason to pack it in with an interim head coach and nowa new defensive coordinator. They keep on battling through all the losses, though. The G-Men pushed a contender to overtime on the roadlast week, but they've blown fourth-quarter leads in each of their last three games. Meanwhile, the Patriots have the league's longest active winning streak (nine games) and can't let a favorable home matchup like this slip away if they want to bethe AFCs top seedcome January. Theloss ofWill Campbellundoubtedly hurts, as does the injury toJared Wilson, so New England's new-look offensive line will be tested by a capable Giants front. The gulf between these teams might not be as gargantuan as their records indicate -- especially ifJaxson Dartreturns from a concussion -- but I will be surprised if Mike Vrabel's squad lets its guard down after the Bengals gave the Pats a bit of a scarelast week.
