For the third consecutive draft, the Cardinals select an Ohio State Buckeye.

Inside linebacker Cody Simon was drafted by the Cardinals with the 115th pick. After starting back-to-back seasons with the Buckeyes at Mike linebacker, he finished 2024 with 112 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and seven sacks.

He reunites with college teammates Marvin Harrison Jr. and Paris Johnson Jr.
