The Seahawks waived four players on Tuesday, which opens more roster spots ahead of signing undrafted free agents later this week.

The Seahawks waived quarterback Jaren Hall, linebacker Michael Dowell, center Michael Novitsky and outside linebacker Kenneth Odumegwu on Tuesday.

Those moves come on the heels of the Seahawk adding 11 players in the 2025 NFL Draft, and with the team expected to sign several more undrafted free agents later in the week before the start of rookie minicamp.

Following those moves, the Seahawks now have 74 players on their 90-man roster before signing any undrafted free agents.

Hall, who joined the Seahawks last season, initially signing to the practice squad, was a fifth-round pick in 2023. He earned a late-season promotion to the 53-man roster, but did not see any playing time. Hall started a pair of games for the Vikings as a rookie. Dowell, who went undrafted out of Miami of Ohio last year, spent time on Seattle's practice squad, then signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks following the season. Novitsky, who signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas last year, also spent time on the practice squad last season. Odumegwu, who is part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program, spent last season on Seattle's practice squad after spending the previous season on Green Bay's practice squad.
